NIS CEO to be Panelist Expert on Award Winning Secure PON solution at Tellabs Enterprise Workshop

The 2016 Tellabs Optical LAN Workshop and Partner Conference is being held January 19 & 20th at the Crystal City Marriott in Arlington, VA. Joe Giovannini, President & CEO of NIS, will be joining the Vendor Panel on January 20th as a representative of the Secure Passive Optical Network (Secure PON) solution that won the 2015 “Most Disruptive Technology Award”, presented by the American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC). The,Secure PON solution was deployed by NCI Information Systems, Inc in the US Army’s Network Enterprise Technologies Command (NETCOM) headquarters at Fort Huachuca, AZ and consisted of NIS’ INTERCEPTOR Alarmed PDS,  CyberSecure IMS, an infrastructure monitoring system (IMS).Tellabs Optical LAN, and CommScope secure cabling infrastructure,

In addition to the NETCOM deployment, the Secure PON solution has been selected for many prominent US government deployments including the US Agency for International Development at the Ronald Reagan building in Washington, DC, the new Department of Homeland Security’s consolidated headquarters at the St. Elizabeths campus in Washington, DC, and the Air Force District of Washington’s Headquarters (AFDW), at Joint Base Andrews.
