Giovannini to be Panelist Expert on Secure PON at Tellabs Enterprise Workshop

Tellabs is hosting its 3rd Annual Enterprise Workshop on Nov 5th in Washington DC. A major feature of this event will be a Vendor Panel consisting of early Optical LAN adopters from both government and industry including representatives from Corning, 3M and TE.  Because Network Integrity Systems’ fiber optic monitoring products have become an important component of a Secure PON, Joe Giovannini, Vice President and CEO of Network Integrity Systems has been invited, for the second year in a row, to participate on the panel.

Also at the event, former Virginia Governor, George Allen, now the Technical Services President for the VT Group, will be speaking on the importance of Passive Optical Lans.

Secure PON delivers the immense cost savings and feature benefits of best-of-bread infrastructure security of INTERCEPTOR Alarmed-Armored PDS™. The Secure PON solution has been selected for all the prominent US government Secure PON deployments, including the Network Modernization Project at the US Army’s Network Enterprise Technologies Command, at Greely Hall, Ft. Huachuca, the US Agency for International Development at the Ronald Reagan building in Washington, DC, the new Department of Homeland Security’s consolidated headquarters at the St. Elizabeths campus in Washington, DC, and the Air Force District of Washington’s Headquarters (AFDW), at Joint Base Andrews.

Joe Giovannini has been a featured speaker on numerous occasions regarding the Secure PON solution; most recently at the Tinker Air Force Base IT and Security Expo.
