INTERCEPTOR and VANGUARD™ support multiple integration options for responding to alarms and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This enables many options for compliance with U.S. Government secure network deployment regulations (for INTERCEPTOR) such as NSTISSI 7003.
Flexible deployment options enable optimized utilization of existing investment in facility and network security tools. Choose the right integration option for your environment, or implement multiple options for advanced INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD deployments.
Customized Systems or Applications
The INTERCEPTOR and VANGUARD API is designed to support customizable modules within other existing systems, to create purpose-built systems, or develop software applications that perform advanced management of the INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD.
Our products exclusively support CyberSecure Information Management Software (IMS), the industry leading customized software for advanced alarm management. INTERCEPTOR and VANGUARD bundle with CyberSecure IMS to remotely monitor and manage alarm devices from anywhere in the world. CyberSecure IMS software automates site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) – which include an alarm notification contact list, zone media (digital images & CAD drawings), and the ability to integrate with physical security systems such as CCTV, Access Control Systems, and PSIM systems. Additionally, CyberSecure IMS software can automatically shut-off or reroute data, further protecting an organization and their customers.
This option is highly recommended, especially for deployments of more than 5 systems. Click here for more on the bundled INTERCEPTOR CS or VANGUARD CS solutions.
Network Management Systems (NMS)
Network Management System (NMS) integration enables customers to receive and respond to events from a number of INTERCEPTORs or VANGUARDs within their environment using a single dashboard. INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD incorporation with any NMS is made easy by leveraging standards-based protocols and events from the INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD. Your existing NMS, or system of choice, can quickly begin responding to events leveraging SNMP and Syslog data from the INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD. NMS integration can include advanced features such as: managing INTERCEPTOR and VANGUARD and zone statuses, responding to alarms by sending email or other notifications to ensure the right personnel are notified, and providing information such as network infrastructure or facility details related to an alarm event.
Please note that with this option, many of the features of the CyberSecure IMS are lost.
Facility & Remote Alarm Systems
For small deployments (less than 5 systems), integration with Facility Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) & Remote Alarm Systems can turn INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD into another security device within your building. INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD can be integrated with facility alarm systems, to include correlating INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD zone alarms with floor plans, security cameras etc. as part of the SOP, or the Remote Alarm Unit, enabling audible and visible alarms at locations of your choice within the building. INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD can be integrated physically on a channel-by-channel basis to isolate alarms, leveraging INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD’s built-in relay contacts.
What’s Right for You?
Many customers in today’s environment have complex requirements for dozens or more INTERCEPTORs or VANGUARDs. Please contact Network Integrity Systems to discuss your requirements for this type of solution and we will recommend one of our Certified Partners that leverage INTERCEPTOR or VANGUARD’s interfaces to integrate with your existing systems, or to deploy a custom, scalable, mission- focused solution.

Overview
Since 2003, Network Integrity Systems has applied its expertise in optical fiber monitoring to prevent physical cyber attacks on network infrastructure. Our solutions perform continuous analysis of cables, pathways and points of vulnerability such as manholes, fence lines and equipment cabinets and look for intrusions that occur as a precursor to a physical cyber attack (tapping, theft of data) or damage that could degrade network performance or availability.
